Blanket Flower 'Lorenziana'

A garden variety of our native flower, this long-loved heirloom was known as "Double Sunset Gaillardia" in an 1886 catalog. Masses of rolled or quilled florets in brick red and golden yellow hues create a pompon of a flower that blooms all summer if deadheaded. Tolerant of high heat and sandy soils.
