Blanket Flower 'Red Plume'

Named for M. Gaillard, an 18th-century French patron of botany, Gaillardia is native to North America. By the 1880s double red selections were in style. Red Plume has similar rich brick-red doubled blooms and was awarded the All-America Selections medal in 1991 for its long bloom time, compact habit, and sheer abundance of flowers.
